Skin Saviours

In today's post I'm going to be sharing the skincare products which seem to work on my acne prone, combination skin. I don't use all of these products daily yet I have found they work well together.

1. Remove any makeup
L'Oreal Paris Skin perfection cleansing milk
£4.99
and yes, I took pictures in the bath...it looked nice
This takes of make up like no other, is very gentle and leaves your skin so soft! I would definitely recommend this as it's so quick and affordable!

2. Exfoliate
Clearasil Rapid Action pads
£5.39
I have tried a couple of products from this range and I think the pad version the most as it is very quick and simple yet work really well to reduce my spots. This seems to work really well on my skin and helps keep my skin clear!

3. Whatever you would title this step
Clean & Clear Black Head Clearing
 Scrub - £3.99

This really just does what it says- get rid of blackheads, and it does a great job of that so long as you keep using it for a while.

4. Cleanse
The Body Shop Aloe Calming Facial
Cleanser - £8.50 (full size)

I like this because it's very gentle and refreshing and does what it says. Also The Body Shop is against animal testing which makes them twice as great!

5. Moisturise
Mosturising  is an essential step (even if you have oily skin). You need to hydrate your skin, just as you would your body. I'm not too picky with moisturisers but typically I love Lush, Nivea and Ted Baker

6. Lip stuff
LUSH Bubblegum lip scrub - £5.99
This is literally heavenly btw.

Body Shop Rasberry lip balm - £2

I despise chapped lips, it is one of my pet peeves, so I always carry around some lip balm(this is my current favourite). I'll also exfoliate my lips very other day.

So that's it for my "skincare saviours", if you have any products that have worked a miracle for you, leave them in a comment below  :) Also sorry for not posting very frequently but I am feeling much more inspired now

Ten Things That Make Me Happy

I think we should always embrace the little things in life that make us smile, like a stranger smiling at you. Even though it's a very small moment in a day, it really makes mine a lot happier and hopefully the stranger's day too. Other things that make me happy include...

1. Going out for breakfast
This is genuinely one of my favourite things to do EVER. I'm not sure why and I don't go out for breakfast / brunch often  nonetheless it leaves me happy for the rest of my day when I do.

2. When someone is excited to see you
I just feel really happy when someone else is genuinely happy to see me!

3. Fairy lights
I love fairy lights, my room is filled with fairy lights, I'm obsessed. I guess you could say they add some light into my day - yep, that was a really bad joke.

4. Packages
Who doesn't love packages? They are like a gift to you, from you.

5. Falling asleep to rain
I hate rain but for some reason I love falling asleep to it.

6. Netflix and YouTube
My favourite shows and youtubers always cheer me up.

7. Making someone feel confident
I love it when I say something to someone and they perk up and you see their face brighten up a little and you're like that was me I made them happy and then you feel fuzzy.
Anecdote time;  when I was younger I would approach random strangers and tell them they are pretty and my sister used to get embarrassed to be with me but that's something I'm quite proud of because who knows how big a difference it could have made in their day :)

8. When people reply straight away
Ask anyone, I'm guilty of taking forever to reply but when my friends reply to my texts or snaps instantly, I really appreciate it!

9. Travelling
Ever since I was very young I have loved exploring so I cannot wait until I'm older and can see more of the world.

10. Being healthy
This sounds quite odd but as much as I love pizza, eating healthily or working out really puts me in a good mood.

It was so hard to narrow down 10 things because even though I don't always remember, I have lots to be happy about. I hope you enjoyed this post even though it was another tag, but don't worry I'm preparing some posts such as "my skincare favourites" so you can expect to se that soon.
